The Self-Determination Program (SDP) Local Volunteer Advisory Committee (LVAC) was established to ensure effective implementation of the SDP and to facilitate the sharing of best practices, effective consumer and family training materials, addressing implementation concerns, discussing systemic issues, and exploring ways to enhance the program.
