Holiday Billing

WIC, Section 4692 establishing the “Uniform Holiday Schedule” and prohibition of funding certain services on fourteen (14) holidays has been repealed effective 07/16/2021 with the passage of AB 136 trailer bill. Since the “Uniform Holiday Schedule” requirements have been deleted, service providers should review and follow their established holiday schedule outlined in their approved program design. Services should not be provided on, nor will NLACRC compensate for, services provided on a day identified as a holiday in a service provider’s approved program design.

Additionally, contract transportation services continue to follow the “Transportation Holiday Schedule” in effect prior to July 27, 2009 and re-implemented since February 13, 2015, as these holidays are legally valid under the Lanterman Act.

Contract transportation will not be available on these 12 holidays:
