Ang North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) ay isa sa 21 pribado, non-profit na organisasyon sa ilalim ng kontrata sa California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) upang makipag-ugnayan at magbigay ng mga serbisyong nakabatay sa komunidad sa mga taong may kapansanan sa intelektwal at pag-unlad (mga mamimili).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ang natatanging sistema ng sentrong pangrehiyon ay nilikha ng landmark na batas sa karapatan na tinatawag na "The Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act", o Lanterman Act. Ang bawat sentrong pangrehiyon ay pinamamahalaan ng isang Lupon ng mga Katiwala ng mga miyembro ng komunidad na kinabibilangan ng mga mamimili, miyembro ng kanilang pamilya, at iba pang interesadong indibidwal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kasalukuyang nagsisilbi ang NLACRC ng higit sa 34,500 consumer simula noong Hulyo 2023, at sinuportahan nito ang mga consumer at kanilang mga pamilya sa San Fernando, Santa Clarita, at Antelope Valley sa loob ng higit sa 45 taon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
