Compartimos esta informaci\u00f3n con anticipaci\u00f3n para garantizar que nuestra comunidad est\u00e9 preparada e informada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por favor, dedique un momento a leer la Directiva DDS en el siguiente enlace:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dds.ca.gov\/newsletter\/message-to-the-community-protecting-access-to-services-and-supports-for-all-californians-2\/\">Mensaje a la comunidad: Protegiendo el acceso a servicios y apoyos para TODOS los californianos: Departamento de Servicios para el Desarrollo de California<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ante los informes que indican que el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (DHS) podr\u00eda recibir informaci\u00f3n de los Centros de Servicios de Medicare y Medicaid (CMS) sobre personas sin estatus legal, es fundamental que tranquilicemos a nuestra comunidad: <strong><u>Los centros regionales no hacen seguimiento ni informan sobre el estatus migratorio.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante este per\u00edodo transitorio, tomaremos las siguientes medidas para garantizar la continuidad de la atenci\u00f3n y la estabilidad de las personas a las que servimos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contactar proactivamente con las familias para garantizar que se atiendan sus necesidades urgentes y que los servicios contin\u00faen sin interrupciones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuidad de los servicios incluso si cambia el estatus legal de un padre o tutor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priorizar las actualizaciones de los Planes de Programa Individual (PPI) y los Planes de Servicios Individuales y Familiares (PSIF) para reflejar las necesidades cambiantes, como el mayor tiempo en casa o la cancelaci\u00f3n de los programas de verano.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ofrecemos reuniones remotas (IPP y IFSP) por tel\u00e9fono o computadora.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permitir la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios a distancia cuando sea apropiado (por ejemplo, esto no se aplica al transporte ni a la asistencia personal).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agilizar la ayuda en materia de vivienda y transporte para las familias desplazadas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al mismo tiempo, queremos aprovechar esta oportunidad para recordar a la comunidad la confidencialidad y la privacidad que, como centro regional, tenemos la responsabilidad de proteger. En NLACRC, nos tomamos muy en serio la privacidad de las personas que reciben servicios y nos comprometemos a salvaguardar su informaci\u00f3n. Los centros regionales y los proveedores de servicios est\u00e1n legalmente obligados, de conformidad con las leyes federales y estatales de privacidad, a proteger la informaci\u00f3n de todas las personas que reciben servicios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto significa que la ley nos proh\u00edbe revelar cualquier informaci\u00f3n sobre las personas a las que apoyamos y sus familias a cualquier persona que llame o env\u00ede un correo electr\u00f3nico solicit\u00e1ndola, excepto en circunstancias legales espec\u00edficas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De conformidad con la Secci\u00f3n 4514 del C\u00f3digo de Bienestar e Instituciones (WIC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), la divulgaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n y registros confidenciales requiere el consentimiento por escrito de la persona atendida o de alguien con autoridad legal para otorgar dicho consentimiento en su nombre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El 14 de mayo de 2025, el Departamento de Servicios para el Desarrollo emiti\u00f3 una directiva a todos los centros regionales sobre el acceso a la informaci\u00f3n de los clientes.
