The Board ARCA Delegate shall report at each meeting of the Community Relations Committee, but shall not necessarily be required to be a member of the Community Relations Committee. A quorum shall consist of a majority of the members of the Community Relations Committee. The term of members shall be set at one (1) year.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deberes<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The duties of the Community Relations Committee shall be to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Review any pending legislation pertinent to people with developmental disabilities and to coordinate contacts with legislators representing the catchment area or responsible for introducing, reviewing or acting upon legislation affecting the segment of the population served by this Regional Center at the direction of the full Board.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inform and educate, as outreach, the diversified communities served by the Regional Center as to the purposes, policies and operational procedures of the organization; and (3) Serve as a clearing-house for all public forums.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Review and recommend standards and policies consistent with the needs of Regional Center consumers with regard to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regional Center services, such as consumers\u2019 rights, case management, intake, assessment, and community development&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Services provided by agencies outside the Regional Center. It is not the role of the Community Relations Committee to discuss individual consumers, individual vendors, the investigation of special incidents involving vendors, and other confidential Regional Center matters. Accordingly, such matters shall not be discussed at meetings of the committee.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proceso<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El Comit\u00e9 de Servicios al Consumidor se re\u00fane mensualmente, pero puede reunirse con mayor frecuencia si es necesario. La agenda es preparada por el presidente del comit\u00e9 y el director ejecutivo o su designado. En las reuniones del comit\u00e9 est\u00e1n presentes el director ejecutivo o una persona designada (que act\u00faa como secretario del comit\u00e9) y el personal del centro al que el director ejecutivo solicite participar. El comit\u00e9 puede invitar a participar a consumidores o representantes de otras agencias seg\u00fan corresponda.
