Tierra West’s
Everyday Hero
Sabu Bozoghlanian is an everyday hero. He
inspires all of us at Tierra West with his perseverance
and dedication.
Sabu came to Tierra West in 1993, and since then he has
overcome numerous obstacles including a seizure disorder
and an inability to communicate. Sabu works diligently,
never giving up or quitting.

He has seen remarkable results of his tremendous
work. Sabu is an irreplaceable member of several volunteer
crews based out of Tierra West. He has volunteered at the
Red Cross, the Organization for the Needs of the Elderly,
Meals on Wheels, with the Department of Parks and Recreation,
and Habitat for Humanity, just to name a few.
We here at Tierra West enthusiastically and proudly nominated
Sabu for the Rotary Club volunteer award. We sincerely appreciate
the Rotary Club for their dedication to the community and
thank them on behalf of Sabu and his family for this award
and the recognition of Sabu’s commitment to giving something
back to his neighborhood.ÒTell me and I’ll forget; show
me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.Ó
